Frequently asked questions

What should a services proposal always include?

Scope, deliverables, fees, timeline and what is explicitly out of scope. The last one prevents most disputes, and it is the section people leave out.

How long should it stay valid?

Thirty days is the usual figure. State it in the document, so a client returning six months later does not expect last year's rate.

Should I break the fee down?

Break it down when the work has distinct phases, because it lets the client approve part of it. Quote a single figure when the value is in the outcome rather than the hours.

Can I add as many deliverables as I need?

Yes. The table grows with the rows you add, one per deliverable, each with its own description and fee.
